Yes, we decided to bring our nutter of a dog with us to OZ- and now he will be coming to NZ...
It was not a decision we took lightly (cost...
insane) but hubby had his 'special car' which he wanted to bring over - and was warned about the hectic paperwork etc....so much to his...
had to part with his mistress...
That was the quarantine fees paid for.....
My beloved boy flew up to JHB - were he spent 6 months at Keringa...what a wonderful quarantine station, just before we flew out to OZ - I fly up to JHB to 'suss out' the place and of course to visit my boytjie...
I arrived and he spotted me and went ballistic...I paid him another visit the following day and had to leave to come back to CT....
4 months later - he arrived in Perth and I went to visit him at Byford quarantine station - as I approached his kennel (he could not see me) I said, 'where's mommy's boytjie?' He recognized my voice....after 4 months!! Needless to say, it was a awesome reunion with with laughter and tears of joy!! He has been out of quarantine now a year almost to the day......bringing him with was one of the best decisions we made.....thank the Lord for 'that car!! I now have to start the process of looking at quarantine in NZ - this is one dog with major air miles.....
The things we do for our beloved four footed furry members......
